Molly
Dr. Aaron Hollis, DVM, Veterinarian
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Hollis founded Providence Animal Hospital & Pet Resort in August 2010 after beginning his career in Mt. Juliet as an Associate for Dr. Mike Harris (retired). Dr. Hollis is a 2000 graduate of Auburn University and a proud member of the TVMA and AVMA. He proudly designed and built the first AAHA-accredited hospital in Mt. Juliet. He shares his home with his wife of 21 years, Vickie, daughter Lauren, a sweet rescue terrier named Sophie, Oscar, the perfect orange tabby, and too many horses to list here. In his spare time, Dr. Hollis cheers on his daughter’s equestrian pursuits and enjoys all things horse racing.
Haylie
Patient Service Coordinator
Haylie joined our reception team in 2024. Haylie comes to Providence Animal Hospital with numerous years of outstanding customer service and pet care. Her passions include camping and gardening.
Mary Jo
Patient Service Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
Mary Jo has multiple years of customer service experience specific to in the veterinary industry, most recently in the U.S. Virgin Islands! Mary Jo is our Patient Service Coordinator as well as an Administrative Assistant.
Loren Palmer, DVM
Associate veterinarian
Dr. Loren Palmer grew up in Mount Juliet, TN. She became a member of the Providence Animal Hospital family in 2014 when she started as a veterinary assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary concentration at The University of Tennessee at Martin. From there, she moved to Rocky Top and earned her DVM degree at The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Throughout veterinary school, Dr. Palmer was involved in several clubs, including the Companion Animal Club and the Surgery Club. She served as the student liaison for the American Heartworm Society at UT. She was the recipient of the Dechra Excellence in Dermatology award.
Dr. Palmer’s specific interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, cardiology, dentistry, and preventative medicine. She chose the veterinary medical field to strengthen the human-animal bond and develop beneficial relationships to serve those in her community, as well as their beloved pets.
After experiencing each part of the state, from rural West TN to the Great Smoky Mountains of East TN, Dr. Palmer and her husband are excited to be back home in Wilson County. They have a German Shepherd mix named Diesel, a Plott hound mix named Rocky, several chickens, and goldfish. In her free time, Dr. Palmer enjoys indoor and outdoor gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be back at Providence Animal Hospital practicing veterinary medicine!
Debbie
Lead Patient Service Coordinator
For more than 23 years, Debbie has been a familiar and caring presence in veterinary medicine, with the past 10 years spent right here at Providence Animal Hospital. As one of the friendly faces welcoming clients through our doors, Debbie loves getting to know both our clients and their pets personally and building the relationships that make veterinary care feel a little more like family.
Debbie has continued to expand her knowledge throughout her long career by attending classes and veterinary conferences, always looking for ways to better serve clients and their pets. What she enjoys most about veterinary medicine is helping pets live happy, healthy lives surrounded by people who love and care for them.
A true animal lover, Debbie has a particularly soft spot for cats. She has shared her life with many cats over the years and currently has four indoor cats, along with several outdoor strays that she and her husband make sure are well fed and cared for. Her family has also included dogs, turtles, and tortoises over the years—so it’s safe to say animals have always been an important part of her life!
When Debbie is not at the hospital taking care of clients, you will find her trying new area restaurants and music venues with her husband Randy. Debbie is always up for an adventure and enjoys traveling with her friends and family, especially to Disney!
After more than two decades in veterinary medicine, Debbie still believes one of the best parts of her job is simple: getting to know people, getting to know their pets, and helping both feel cared for. We’re happy to have had her as part of the Providence Animal Hospital family for the past decade.
Mary
Lead Veterinary Technician
Mary is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who has been working in veterinary medicine since 2015. She earned her education and veterinary credentials through Volunteer State Community College, including an associate degree, veterinary assistant certification, and veterinary technician training.
Mary has a particular passion for surgery, phlebotomy, and being the resident cat whisper! As our most senior and Lead Technician, Mary especially enjoys being involved in all of Providence Animal Hospital’s surgical procedures and dental cleanings. She loves the hands-on nature of veterinary medicine and takes pride in helping provide quality care for the hospital’s patients.
Outside of work, Mary is a devoted animal lover who shares her home with six dogs: Rocko an Australian Shepard, Rex, a Chihuahua mix; Storm, a Husky mix; Max, a Pit Bull mix; Eloise, a Hound mix; and Nico, a Catahoula mix. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her son and fiancé.
Caleb
Veterinary Assistant
Caleb joined PAH in July of 2023 and is a service provider and veterinary assistant at Providence Animal Hospital. He was drawn to PAH because he loves working with animals. Working with dogs is a passion that he has always had. Caleb grew up in White House, TN. He enjoys baseball, men’s softball, music, and spending time with his family.
Addi
Veterinary Assistant
Addie is a dedicated veterinary assistant who has been working in veterinary medicine for about two years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Tennessee Tech University and enjoys being part of a team that helps pets and their families feel comfortable and cared for.
One of Addie’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is phlebotomy, as well as educating pet owners about the importance of heartworm and flea and tick prevention. She especially enjoys helping patients and their families understand what may be going on with their beloved pets and being part of the process of getting them the care they need.
Addie has a special soft spot for animals who are frightened or unsure in a new environment. She understands how stressful a veterinary visit can be for a pet and strives to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
Outside of the hospital, Addie enjoys hunting and fishing with her husband. She also loves gardening, canning and baking, and sewing—especially when she gets the chance to learn or create something new. She shares her home with Oakley, a lovable Beagle mix, who has been by her side through everything. Addie especially loves his big ears and sweet personality.

Becca
Becca has been working in the animal care industry for over five years. She shares her life with two fur babies, Bubbles and Leonard, and loves all things Halloween.
Molly
Molly began her career here at Providence Animal Hospital while she was in high school, caring for our Pet Resort guests. We are proud to announce that Molly has been accepted to the University of Tennessee Veterinary School, Class of 2029. Molly spends her Summers and school breaks working as a Veterinary Intern and taking great care of your pets.
Madison
Associate veterinarian
Dr. Madison Gentry is an Associate Veterinarian at Providence Animal Hospital with a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and the families who love them. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, with a pre-veterinary concentration and a minor in Biology, from Tennessee Technological University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Tennessee.
Before beginning her career in veterinary medicine, Dr. Gentry worked as a physical therapy and rehabilitation technician, where she cared for many injured patients. Seeing the important role that rehabilitation and compassionate care played in helping patients return to a better quality of life inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine and help animals in the same meaningful way.
Dr. Gentry’s professional interests include dermatology, feline medicine, internal medicine, and preventive care. She especially enjoys providing personalized care and helping pets live healthier, happier lives. One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is building relationships with clients and helping ensure their pets receive the best possible care.
Originally from Gordonsville, Tennessee, Dr. Gentry grew up on a beef cattle farm, where her love for animals began at an early age. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, scrapbooking, and traveling. She and her husband have a goal of visiting all 63 U.S. National Parks and are currently working toward that adventure.
At home, Dr. Gentry has quite the animal family! Her pets include George, a betta fish; Marco, a rooster; and three bob-tailed cats named Noodle, Jose, and Chicken Nugget.
