Do you have separate areas for dogs and cats?

Absolutely! We’re proud to be both dog- and cat-friendly, with separate exam rooms designed to reduce stress for your pets. Our feline-only and large/small dog rooms are freestanding to minimize noise and scent triggers, creating a more relaxed environment for everyone.

We are Excited to announce a brand new feline-only treatment room. This will allow your cat the pleasure of a private dog-free area to reduce noise, smells, and stress. This feline-only treatment area features separate ventilation, natural outdoor light, and Cozy Cat Condos for extended hospitalization when necessary.

What should I bring to my pet’s first appointment?

To help us get to know your pet better, please bring:

  • Any previous veterinary records
  • A list of current medications or supplements
  • Information about your pet’s diet, behavior, and lifestyle

And don’t forget your pet’s favorite treats or toy to help them feel at ease!

Do you offer same-day appointments or emergency care?

While we’re not an emergency clinic, we do offer same-day sick appointments as our schedule allows. If your pet is experiencing an urgent issue, call us right away — we’ll always do our best to help or direct you to a trusted local emergency hospital.

What does AAHA accreditation mean for my pet?

Being AAHA accredited means Providence Animal Hospital meets the highest standards in veterinary medicine. Fewer than 15% of animal hospitals in North America earn this designation — it’s a badge of quality, safety, and excellence that reflects our commitment to compassionate, cutting-edge care.
